ENGAGEMENT PARTY

Hi All! It's been a very busy week, so my apologies for not posting sooner. We spent the weekend in Mountville, celebrating Uncle Winston and soon-to-be-Aunt Bridget's engagement. Although the weather was HOT, the festivities were lots of fun and it's always a good time catching up with old friends and meeting new ones!

Little Miss Priss Evie was a ball of excitement and motion the entire party, staying up waaaaay past her bedtime!  Unfortunately, Momma Peach had her hands full and didn't take too many photos of the party, but I do want to share a few.

This marks the spot where Evie drove
a car for the first time.  She even honked the horn
to let the grandparents know we were coming!
All she needed was Momma Peach's lap for a
boost to reach the steering wheel.

Apparently, flooring changes cause confusion
in a 10 month old.
Is it brick? Is it wood? I DON'T KNOW!
Either way, I'll bear crawl over it!

Woah. I'm captivated and also confused by the fact
that Momma Peach is wearing lipstick.
That NEVER happens.

A few uninvited, but very welcome, guests.

Note to self: Don't make too fancy of a cupcake.
People will think they are for decoration only and no one will eat them.

(Either that, or they actually tasted like crap and no one told me!)

A delirious little girl who was up WAY past her bedtime.
Please notice the glazed eyes and the  massive amount
of watermelon juice on her dress.

She LOVED it.

  1. These are fantastic. I went back and looked at some of your stuff. Evie is gonna be blessed with your quirky sense of humor (which clearly shines through in this blog). Love it!

  2. Thanks! I definitely hope she ends up with a sense of humor... but I'm not sure the world needs more of a humor like mine. =o)
    How is life with TWO?!!!
